Top Beauty Companies Make Barron’s 100 Most Sustainable Companies List

Top beauty companies, like P&G and Estée Lauder, made the list.

Sustainability is a growing topic in the beauty and personal care industry. Barron’s has released its 100 Most Sustainable Companies list to point out which companies are striving to meet corporate challenges in sustainability targets.
 
This is the seventh annual ranking that considers the largest 1,000 publicly traded U.S. companies. In working with Calvert Research and Management, Barron’s scored the companies based on 230 environmental, governance, social and ESG performance measures. 
 
The following beauty and personal care companies made the list:
 
Clorox Company ranked No. 1 for the second year in a row.
 
Procter & Gamble ranked No. 10
 
Estée Lauder Companies ranked No. 46
 
Colgate-Palmolive ranked No. 58
